Banish all the stereotypes about sports bars in Houston — Biggio's puts a new spin on game-day dining, drinks and lively atmosphere.
Craig Biggio
Our restaurant is named after local legend, Craig Biggio, a beloved Houston Astros player inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015. Craig, consulted on Biggio's restaurant, was a second baseman, outfielder and catcher for the Astros, where his career spanned from 1988 through 2007. He is now a special assistant to the General Manager of the team, working on major and minor league player development, the amateur draft as well as scouting and talent evaluation.
Craig is devoted to the local community and is a spokesperson for the Sunshine Kids Foundation, which supports children fighting cancer and their families. He is also a proud participant in the Astros community development program. Craig and his family live in Houston and can often be spotted enjoying a meal here at Biggio's.
